I recently purchased a 2019 TRDPro, new out the box. I asked the dealer to put a desert air intake on it, and they put an aftermarket unit on it, and I was expecting the TRD unit. While installing the aftermarket unit, they cut my fender and possibly the A frame.

The dealer has agreed to replace fender, and put on the factory air intake. My concern is, if they cut the A frame, has that compromised the crash worthiness of the vehicle?

    Please Help!

Unfortunately all the work was done in a bay at the dealership, I wasn't present. This is a brand new truck with less than 500 miles. The jest of the question is, if you alter the A frame in any manner, will it compromise the vehicle's safety?

Pretty sure you have to do the same amount of cutting with any brand of snorkel. They kind of all work the same way.

Do you mean the actual frame or are we referring to the "a" pillar on the pasenger side windshield/door?

Better question is why did OP ask for it to be taken back off..? Just wanted the TRD logo I guess?

Same cuts (essentially) would have to be made regardless

A frame is referring to A pillar, not the frame. That being said, quite a few folks drill holes in the A pillar without ill effects. However, make sure that it is documented that the modifications and repairs were done by the dealer and not you.
