I began an earthquake preparedness program years ago when we moved to the Bay Area. I've got enough provisions to last a couple months. Plus a few weeks of Mountain House freeze dried backpacking food. That's tasty stuff. And they sell it at the exchange at Travis.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I hadn't lived in earthquake territory in years. Tornado valley, stocking up for days isn't smart as it's going to get blown away. I do maintain awareness of places I can get food though. I've lived in the country enough of my life to know how to get food, and what it costs.. thankfully I know how to farm, and what needs to be done around a farm

Its not about the supply chains people are concerned about though. The government might do a mandatory 2 week shutdown to force everyone not to leave home. That means everything will be closed.

Got my fenders cut, beat back my firewalls to all hell, and got my 315s mounted. Test drove it and no rubbing at all thus far. As usual had alot of help from my adopted little brother @Dex__43. He took home my 33s and a full sized spare I bought off @jberry813 for a killer price a while back. After a long ass day he strapped a couple to his 4runner rack because his bed was full (@thebaker look familiar?). Today was a good day.

First off, people will lose their god damned minds and it’ll be a shit show.

Second, “essential” personnel will still be expected to report to work and duty.

At least my commute will be easy peasy

Grocery stores will be open.. as well as medical companies. And I’m sure supply chains.

That, unfortunately, means my company is remaining open the entire time lol

at least I get to work from home

It’s going to be a huge shitshow. I don’t know that they’ve thought at all about how they will deliver service to the 5 or 6 million people they just told to stay home nor how the state will pay the unemployment claims for those out of work.

If you work retail, I’d be guessing more and more stores will be closing as well.

Two week staycation would be awesome for me...

But the owners of my company would die before theyd shut down their revenue generation machine.

Saw something today that implies it’s going to be more like eight weeks of confinement.

I thought it was funny someone posted a meme that said Social Distancing was the new PC way of saying “quarantine”.

8 weeks off would be ok too, i got alot of things in my steam library to catch up on lol

Although that would kill my "moving out of state" savings and set me back a year im sure.

Got the word that we’re working a 50/50 schedule for the next two weeks. MWF in the office this week, T and TR from the office next week.
