Possibly. I bought two of em so next one I'll do a reheat on the pit at 300* with the smoke tube to minimize the time.

this stuff will make good sammiches at least.

Ya mine end up either brined and smoked or injected and deep fried.

 

And I'm obligated to once again bring up spatchcocking because that word never gets old and the birds are tasty AF!

Just over 2 pounds of corned beef brisket, soaked to remove a lot of the saltiness, rubbed with a pastrami rub and smoked with Competition Blend pellets in my vertical Pit Boss smoker for 5 hours. Wrapped in foil the last hour until 195 degrees, then for the first time ever, wrapped in a towel and into a cooler for another hour. Super tender and great flavor!



Pastrami Rub
4 Tablespoons fresh coarsely ground black pepper
2 Tablespoons freshly ground coriander
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 Tablespoon paprika
2 Teaspoons granulated garlic
2 Teaspoons granulated onion
1 Teaspoon mustard powder

Mix together and rub liberally on corned beef.

 

Nice always wanted to try smoking corn beef . Now I see it think going to try it

I found mine at the local butcher shop. Never seen them in the grocery stores.

Lame ass smoke this Sunday, just some yard bird breast and some pigs in a blanket (for breakfast) this week.
