I just ordered the Vr-602 in Tungsten Graphite for 675 shipped to my APO box in Germany and added there lug nuts to my order for total of 705.00 shipped. I am happy I get to take advantage of there buy 3 get 1 free black Friday deal! I'm stoked to see these things in person, and on the truck. Going on my all white 2018 TRD Sport Double Cab 4x4.

I'm curious, what have you all paid for mounting and balancing in the past? Also transferring my Tpms sensors.

    Nice rims, with a caveat.
Do yourself a favor and if you haven't already, read the thread from page 8 on.

Keep telling yourself that, but don't BS the uneducated with your own ignorance.

There isn't a sober mechanical engineer in the country that would sign off on 5 1/2 revolutions of purchase for a 12 X 1.5 lug nut in this application.

Agreed, I wouldn't call that safe at all.

There are plenty of other nice rims to go with if you don't want to put in the work.

Wheels and venomrex lugs were put on 6 months ago. Checked torque couple weeks ago and hasn't backed out at all. All 4 clicked at 83 ft lbs. To each his/ her opinion but I'm good. No worries.

Just wanted to add my opinion as well. Ive been using these wheels with the stock studs for about 4 months and everything has been holding up. I drive on lease/dirt roads frequently and nothing has backed out.

If you want peace of mind though, I'd swap in some longer studs. I'll probably do it eventually whenever I feel bored and need something to do.

I have an email from Venomrex that states that their engineers say its ok. Granted they are trying to sell rims, but if they do fall off, I can blame them. :headbang:

I check torque on my lugs regularly, this was never my concern. Maybe I’m way off base but I was mostly worried about studs/lugs failing if too much load was distributed across too few threads.

Ymmv but if I lose a wheel at 70mph and one of my boys gets hurt or killed that’s not something venomrex or lawyers can make right( not to mention safety of other vehicles on the road).

If 4 rotations is the absolute minimum necessary I still want 8. There’s a reason mechanics/engineers call for at least 12mm of engagement.

I picked up and mounted a set of Venomrex VR-602 in Bronze for my white Tacoma DCSB. I ordered the for their black Friday sale! I have to say I could not be happier. Truck looks better than I thought it would. Mine are mounted on 1.25" wheel spacers so I have a little bit more stick out than most people will have. Tires are 265/70r17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

Also, I had a couple issues and I'd like to throw out that there customer service is absolutely second to none. Unreal customer service. Even after care. Anyway, enjoy the pics and happy wheeling!

I wanted to confirm that the Dorman 610-462 studs are the right length and don't need to be cut down. I'm fine with the extra effort to replace studs, but would rather not deal with cutting and chasing threads if I dont have to.
    Thanks

    This and that...
Just an idea, but I'm about to purchase a set of SpiderTraxs and thinking that it would be pretty easy to install longer lugs into the spacer. Really interested in these wheels at this price point. Any other deals still out there?

Too many to list. I’m lazy
I’m really sorry if this was mentioned here already. I read a lot of it and couldn’t find my answer.

I purchased these wheels a couple of weeks ago and I am currently having the tires mounted to the wheels so they are ready for when I install my lift.

they test fit all wheels before mounting just to be safe and they called me to tell me that these wheels will not fit my truck so I went over to confirm. They fit the hub just fine in the rear but will not fully seat on the front because of the hub. Has anyone had an issue with this?? Can I just pop the cover off that’s in the way? Do I need spacers? Please help

Year make and model? Maybe you received the wrong wheels? Mine fit perfect. 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport
