:bananadead: People drive around with no bumpers, I don’t see why you having some kind of protection on your vehicle would be illegal.

full metal tacoma, in case of full on collision.

Ok that really didn't help in someone's case but I also agree that I don't see how its illegal. But check with state laws.

It really depends on what state you’re in, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t be legal. As long as you have a front tag on it (if you’re in a state that requires one) I don’t see an issue.

Keep in mind the only aftermarket bumper manufacturer that crash tests their bumpers are ARB. Not that it matters, but that’s just another thing to think about.

Doesn't seem like Texas cares, see plenty of custom bumpers out there.

Based on your camo paint job, I think an aftermarket bumper is the least of your concerns.

How will other drivers see your truck?! :goingcrazy:

I know some states on the east coast like MA have implemented some really strict standards on things like bumpers, fenders and wheel spacing with their annual safety inspections. But most states it's a non issue as long as it's not some hap-hazard homemade bumper that looks sketch.
