We did that down in Georgia. Went offroading and camping the day before and rolled up with the OH to GA bugs, and a days worth of wheeling mud / dust. Valet was like....ooook.

 

So... has anyone been to the grocery store today???

My wife went at 830 this morning before it got crazy busy. But I work directly across from the Kroger in Independence so I have been watching their parking lot all week. I’ve never seen it so busy in my life

 

Luckily if shit really does get to crazy I’ve got a lot of deer meat and fish in the freezer.

 

Guess we know where the TW party will be. Lol.

I got enough frozen food to feed my kids for a few weeks. And thankfully I’m good on paper products for a while. I do need dishwashing detergent or I’ll have to kick it old school and hand wash dishes...

A local doctor said he heard from work that the governor confirmed “behind closed doors” that the federal government will be issuing a mandatory two week quarantine of the entire country in the next 48-72 hours.

No idea if it’s true or not but shit could be about to get really bad...

 

I've heard the same from a military source.

It’ll be similar to what Italy did if it happens... everyone will be mandated to stay in their homes for two weeks. Everything will be shut down. I have no idea what that would mean. Would they suspend the USPS (has that ever happened?), would they let grocery stores remain open but only allow one person per household to leave, would you get a ticket or arrested if you were caught out of the house?

What happens to the poor fish in my office if no one can go feed them for two weeks?

This morning. And it’s essentially the same message I heard last night. But, on the flip side, I’ve also heard reports that it’s all a hoax... the National Security Council tweeted from their official account that it’s fake so again, who knows what’s actually gonna happen.

 

Yeah the verbage I heard is quite a bit different, but the idea and timeline are similar.

 

That’s most likely a “fear hype” message being circulated around social media. I don’t necessarily buy into it. But if it stemmed from a legit source, and the timeline is in fact correct. Things could get interesting...

Apparently DeWine is about to hold another press conference and based on the latest CDC recommendations I’m afraid he’s gonna close all daycare centers regardless of what the federal government decides.

 

If we get "locked down" as individuals, who's to say the utility workers are still going to their jobs when we're kept from ours? Is there any utility totally autonomous?

Maybe, get rice instead of pizza rolls. Canned beans instead of fish sticks. Corned-beef hash instead of chicken breasts.
