Halp! How to move AT cooler?

In the midst of a really fun project for me- finally mounting the BD LP9Pro Yellows mounted on the BAMF behind-the-grill light bar mount.

Passenger side is like butter. Perfectly centered when I put the grill back on. Had to flip the horns and bend their brackets just a hair to get them out of the way, but I’m running in to issue with the oil cooler.

has anyone moved it back by a couple of inches? That’s really all I need. The mounts are stout as hell so I can’t simply manhandle it.

That's the AT cooler. You definitely don't want to be blocking airflow to it.

It looks like you could flip the orientation from horizontal to vertical and fit your LP9 beside it.

I wonder if it would be easier to push the lights forward (another bracket)? My Rigid lights didn't have a clearance problem, but I did needed to relocate my horns.

 

I’m definitely considering that as an option. May reach out to BAMF to see if they could make something too. I worry that the further I get out from the radiator the more prone to vibration they may be.

JFC those are so madddddd skills! If I need to lengthen the rubber lines- what’s involved with that? Don’t know anything about the fluid system.

 

If you notice, they are held by "snap" rings. Nothing difficult. Mark the tubes exiting the side then into the cooler, so you get the hoses where they go. Secure the longer hoses so they do not chaff or vibrate more than they will.

 

OP, if you really were going to get fancy ($$$), the Tundra Trans cooler is a vertical one. RockAuto has them. It even has a ducting to force the air through...
