That’s why I make sure I have money in hand. People aren’t going to bring the cash if they just want to try it out.

 

I agree, not likely to happen given I can't bring myself to sell any of my bikes and usually trade in my other vehicles.

 

I get my full asking price in hand. Not an agreed amount thats usually less. Like if Im asking $10k, but we agree on $8200. If you want to test ride it, you give me $10k cash. Then when you get back and its in the same condition, you get the $10k back, and you want to buy it, you give me the agreed price.

If you dont have $10k, I will ride it for you. And also a judge of character.. if I think youre bluffing and just want to joyride, then no. But if you just want to see it ride, and then you go get the $later, then thats ok.

What happens if you ride it before you buy, and you dont like it? then dont buy it, apologise, and go on with the day. Im not going to get butthurt if someone comes to look at the bike and doesnt like it.

Yea fuck that noise. I'm not letting anyone just jump on a bike I'm selling. I'll show it runs but without any cash in my hands no sir. Idk there riding skill set.

 

This, if they went out of their way to get the money it’s technically wasting both of our time saying no. Last thing I want is for the buyer to buy a bike he doesn’t like. I have only test rode one bike that I said no to. Turned out to be a piece of crap.

if the buyer has cash, Im not morally objected to confirm if he likes it or not. Thats just not my job. Its usually up to them to decide if they like it or not before they message me asking for more info..

Neither did I. But it came with a 1 year warranty and I already knew it was slow with crappy suspension

I've been looking on Revzilla but haven't bought any yet. There's a few decently priced ones I may purchase, but need to pay off all the other shit I bought first.

 

My bike has lifetime engine warranty. But ive had one before. The other dealer that i bought from let me test ride.

Dang this thing is sweet. It gets dark super fast. It’s super cloudy and overcast and it instantly changed. Just took it back inside seeing how long it takes to get clear

 

Both. Bought my 2001 suzuki rm250 used and never rode a two stroke before hand. Bought a used cbr600rr first street bike never test rode that Totaled it 6 months later went in the show room picked out a brand new cbr1000rr. And bought the 19 wr450 never rode one before. So every bike I've owned I never tested before hand just picked it up and abused the shit out of them.
