Any lights on the front of your vehicle that are Red, Blue or Yellow are illegal in every state and having non DOT Headlights are as well.. Do not do it with intentions of using your truck on city streets.

Off Road use.. go nuts .. no one cares.

I think it's look pretty sweet! Might want to put the Halos on a separate switch though, maybe hidden under the dash... With your headlights on though, I doubt many people would notice the red halo. I think you'd be more apt to be hassled at inspection time (thus the hidden switch) or if you're driving with just the red halos on.

yup i think it would look good...i got an impulse red yota so im hoping it doesnt make it look wierd. And ya i plan on putting in a switch and using one of the empty slots in the cab to wire it into. so i can turn it on and off whenever and its not on all the time.

It depends on the cop. Technically, fix-it tickets are for broken items like burned out light bulbs, not for something you purposely do to your vehicle. So they can write it as non-correctable. I read about one CHP officer who makes window tint and tinted taillight tickets non-correctable.
