I'm sure they've since changed it over the last week, but only got that first email and it made my head spin with wonder how it would help while keeping other "large gathering" shit open..


Glad I'm done with that school now, I'd be way more pissed hearing that and still being a part of the risk. Be happy your school is doing the right thing first haha

 

too bad only roadkill we get out here is coyotes, desert jackrabbits, or granny two-shoes rat dog down the street.

All would be nasty af imo and I would rather drop a nice boiled egg in there for the protein

Nada, that's the next state over for us. Too hot here likely and not habitable enough for them.


Don't armadillos regularly have leprosy? I wouldn't be munching on any of those

Was about to head to the library and stock up on books and literally, just as I was about to walk out the door, I got an email from the library said they are closing indefinitely and that started this morning so...damn. Glad I have hundreds of kindle books on my Android tablet and terabytes of music, TV shows and movies on my server

 

Snakes are tasty and crickets can be dried and eaten raw or milled into "flour"...or used to catch fish

 

I have had fried Mohave rattlesnake before. Was really good and tasted like alligator/chicken, but p bony like fish so it's a tad daunting for a first time.


Had a guy get bit in his neck by it after drinking and catching it out in the desert. Went to his buddies house to show it off and knocked on his door with the wrong hand being drunk which fkd him. Came into the ER with it still in his hands laughing, and he took about 25-30k worth of anti-venom to survive.

buddy came back the next week with the same snake fried for us, and I couldn't pass it up. I'd do it again, but crickets scare me to eat bromigo, they remind me of a cousin of roaches which churns my gut

 

We all have at one point. My favorite part about online classes is watching the number of forum posts drop steadily over the semester. Guess some people cant handle BS'ing their way through the work haha.

Welp, my wife's studios got shut down. 1 hour to close up shop. Had to leave work to watch our daughter so she can deal with that and her employees
