I meant the shutdown. My bet is the majority of the country will be on lockdown next week.

Unless someone up high in the chain of command realizes its too late to do so and there's no point in trying to stop what's already out there. And that the country will fall into economic desperation like we've never seen in our lifetimes if a lockdown lasts more than 2 weeks. Just imo.


But yeah, stay positive.

 

You have to wonder if the effects/repercussions of this virus and the measures being taken are worth the huge negative effect it's having on our economy.

Maybe letting it run its course would have been the lesser of two evils

 

These temporary measures are being taken to prevent a spike in new COVID19 infection which could overwhelm medical facilities causing a far worse National Disaster.

Its not worth the economic fallout. If this thing blows over in 2 months, it may be a year or more before things get back to "normal" for everybody. And whats normal today, wont be the same as the new normal.

Thats been the strategy for every other pandemic, no point in changing it up now.
