CV axle binding now, dented driveshaft, busted rear pinion flange, a cut tire, pinion seal dust cover destroyed, and did something to the steering rack from what I remember. It's a doozy!

I'm wondering if it's just me, but has anyone else noticed an uneven gap between the tailgait and rear quarterpanel from an otherwise new tacoma? Mine isn't that bad, but noticable upon close inspection

    Holy smokes!

All trucks have small gaps. It's gonna happen.

Thats hard to do at windrock. Most of the trails are miles long and end in a different area of the park. But there are plenty of trails there your truck can do with very little issue

If I can run blues that are on the wild side of mild, you deff can. Just make sure you've got sliders and skids :D

New here to Tacomas, long time jeep guy. Im not a huge fan at all of the Cali Raised, but in terms of design the Total Chaos wins hands down. At least they look like some thought and purpose went into producing them. The way they hug the bed interior works better for me. I fell like the other brands would get in the way of almost everything I put in the bed. I want to be able to slide my stuff off.

I’m not trying to be a troll here but it’s going to appear that way. For those that want to get or think they need the bed stiffeners, is there any actual evidence that they help out? I’m not talking about adding a tie down point, I’m talking about the bed integrity itself. I can’t find much evidence at all to support claims that they are needed at all. And those that have had problems it’s often attributed to gross negligence. I’m all about spending money on my Taco, I’ve spent more than a penny or two on mods. I just would like to cut through the opinions about what’s needed. We all know that there are multiple aftermarket gizmo suppliers that would love to take your money. If you’re cool with that, so be it. Long story short is, can anybody prove they are actually needed? I would like to spend money on what is actually needed.

I've only seen hearsay about the sheet metal in the bed bending. As I now have a 180lb RTT and soon have bed bars to mount it, I would like some stiffeners for that extra bit of security. Now, the TC stiffeners look great, but I think would just be overkill for my purposes. I've got the Rago fab versions pinned for later. Lower profile, so it won't interfere with using the bed as much. Also, they cost less, which is nice. I have no idea what I'd do with 8 mounting points...
