Went out to eat last night. I had a feeling restaurants would be closing for a while, so I enjoyed a very good $$$ meal. Found out this morning that they are doing take out only. Hopefully they survive, because restaurants barely survive my area under normal circumstances.

yeah we actually went out last night too. Housewarming and birthday dinner all in one. There was actually a few people out but they were going to take out only after last night. Where abouts that restaurants don’t last?

Oh. Yuuuup. Actually when we bought our house there was a 5k incentive after 5 years in a bunch of cities near providence, east providence included, and then Woonsocket. We didn’t end up up there.

I got asked today if I could work from home, so I'm going to take a go at it. I built a replica of my work PC using one of our old junk machines. I need a Windows 7 PC with XP mode to replicate our automation software so I can prep to convert it to the Windows 10 updated version.

It will be interesting with the two small humans around. Admittedly, I'm struggling with this whole thing. Like, one minute I look at the numbers and think, it's not going to be that bad, and the next minute I'm running around with Lysol freaking out at the thought of the kids even seeing another person let alone being within 20 feet of. It's frustrating. I'm hoping once the weather turns a bit and I get outside in the yard, I'll be able to exhale a bit. As I mentioned if it wasn't for my Mom and my FIL, I wouldn't even be worried. My Mom's in great health generally, but she falls right into that danger zone area, so I'm trying to make sure she's good through this.

Had to clean up my office at home. Had been kind of neglected for the past. Hmm. 3 years. So I needed to clean it up in case I end up on webcam tomorrow. That’s how my evening went.

    :annoyed:

Gotta start my corned beef brisket in a few hours! 8 hour cook in the slow cooker. Woke up to see snow today and that was my indication....I won't be using the smoker :(

lol forever a patriot. Apparently not.

I’m sure my office would be losing their collective shit today if it weren’t for the old corona.

I made it in the pressure cooker a few months ago. Took one hour and came out awesome so I'm going to do that again.

I have an instant pot, I could be convinced to try that. I hate (well, not hate, but don't care for) cabbage so that makes it easier. I'll probably just do mashed potatoes on the side.

Do you know what the deal is with the Grabber AT2, Noel? General told me they were discontinuing it, so I bought a set about two months ago. I noticed they're still on their website and don't seem to be hard to get ahold of. The ATX is LT only and the APT looks like a less aggressive tire, so there isn't a direct replacement for a P-metric AT2 as far as I can tell. So far, it's the best tire I've ever run.

I read a few recipes, did you quick release or let the pressure naturally go down for a few minutes first? Whenever I do meats I usually leave it for about 10 minutes before I release the pressure.

I quick released when I did it last time. I think the corned beef was a little over an hour, then you release pressure and throw the potatoes, carrots, and cabbage in at the end for a few minutes and quick release again.

I think I'll give the pressure cooker a whirl today. Although it does take away the added benefit of making the house smell amazing for the whole day.

I have done it in a crock pot low for 8 hours before, that was good. I could also just end up doing that so the house smells good today. :D
