    Someone posted this YouTube link in an Air Dam thread. In it a Toyota Engineer talks about several aerodynamic design features, including the spoiler at about 7:30. I hadn't thought of it as a spoiler until he pointed it out.

    Stock AF. My 68 Bronco and 2000 2.5RS get the mods.
    Didnt watch the video as I dont care for tfl very much but toyota does refer to the shape of the top of the tailgate as a spoiler for aero purposes.

    I dunno what speed the spoilers and ground effects come into affect, but my truck has never seen those speeds. I cannot afford the fuel to get it there.

    Even though rear truck spoiler type thing has been around, good on Toyota for looking over truck and what not

    a Tacoma is a truck truck,
