Hopefully we're not back to 90's quality play; I've gotten used to making the post-season pretty much every year

General's not one of our brands so I'm not 100% certain on this information; it's just what I've heard from some of our customers. But apparently the AT2 IS being discontinued, and the ATX is what's positioned to take over for it. Not sure what the offerings are going to be for LT/P metric and in what sizes, though.

Oh dear lord I hope not! But tickets were cheap those days lol!

If they still have Belichick they will be ok. Just not expecting any SB though.

FYI, if any of you are looking for a replacement set.

Facebook is already a wash of people who turned heel and now hate Brady. Like the rest of the US couldn't stand the guy but the new england fans worshiped him, now he's leaving and a bunch of pats fans are outraged. Outraged I tell ya!

Reminds me in 7th grade when...someone, left the red sox and went to the yankees, she interrupted her teaching plan and had us write a story about loyalty vs income. Everyone was all about loyalty, and I was the only one that went with income, it's a job, companies don't show loyalty (I had research into numbers from layoffs, economic downturns, policy changes, the core concept of a corporation, etc). So I basically laid into it that if the companies won't show loyalty, neither should I and I'll take the money route. I got an F.

I dont blame Tom at all. This is on the Patriots as a team (Belichick and Kraft) for not getting Brady back. Brady took home town discounts for his whole career until now.

I blame literally nobody. He moved to another team. Players move all the time for whatever reason. They owe no loyalty, they can play for whomever they want. If that gets you bent out of shape, tough.

True. But ultimately it was up to the Patriots if they really wanted him. They just had to pay up.

It'll be fun to hear if money even played a part in this. It would be awesome if his future team, whoever it may be, pays him the same as the pats offered. Or less. That would be amazing and make pats fans absolutely implode.

I think whomever gets Brady is paying for at least what he is looking for. Supposidly still about 8 teams still in the hunt. Positive out of this is ticket prices will hopefully come down a little bit and I can go to games on more a regular basis since I only live 3 miles away from the stadium.

I am literally doing it in my instant pot as we speak at my office for lunch. 90 minutes for 3lbs on high, slow release, then adding in potatoes and carrots at cook another 3 minutes. I will terll you how it comes out. I have a 3 quart one here in my office.

I have stated that this was going to happen for years. Typical New England fans.......When their team is doing great its "we're the best!" when they are doing poorly they are "Their a bunch of bums!......you suck!" I see already the "die hard" Pats fan in my feed are saying....."well he is washed up anyway...." I bet that they don't even make it into the playoffs next year. Yes, I am from New England, born and raised, but not a Pats fan.

Brady is far from washed up. I think he still has about 2 or 3 good years left in him. He was not the problem last year for the Patriots.

Eh I ate humble pie for the years before the first SB. We as Pats fans also heard that every year after SB 36. I can look back and say holyshit that was a F'n run and no other franchise will be able to what they did. And to do it in the salary cap era.

Back then if you told me it would have lasted this long I would have said you're out of your mind.

Not sure where the Pats fans will be eating humble pie? Brady was great for us. I'd like to have seen Brady finish off his career as a Patriot, but I'm going to be amused by the fans who'll do an abrupt about-face wherever he lands. From 'he's a cheater!' to 'We've got Brady!', in their eyes, I expect.

I think I'm going to try the instant pot route. Unless I want to start it now and not eat until 9:30 tonight....

Onions on the bottom, brisket + broth to cover it....although not sure, I cover it in the slow cooker, do I need to in the instant pot? Anyway, yeah I plan to do a slow release 15 minutes, I don't know if I'll do the potatoes and carrots in there or not. Might as well, less dishes to clean up after.

Agreed. Even though I am not a Pat's fan, I would have liked it if he retired a Patriot and gone out on top. I am only going off of the unfortunate friends and relatives I keep that are pat's fans that are "stab him in the back" type of fan because they don't have him anymore. Even though I am not a Pat's fan, I can still say without failing that he is the greatest quarterback that I will ever see in my lifetime. I also will not stand for the aspect of any fan of the team that he happens to go to go from "he is a cheater" to "he's the greatest because he is on our team now." That's really F-ed up. The humble pie I was referring to wasn't what the team has done....but what they won't be able to do without him. I do believe that Coach B will be next since he will not want his winning record tarnished if he can't do it without brady. What the Pat's had was a perfect storm. The best quarterback that ever live and the greatest coach, at the time, to work together to create a team that has never existed before. On another note.....it will be nice to see some other teams step up to the plate. In all actuality, I would love to see brady, on his new team, win the superbowl next year. It would just solidify that he really was the greatest QB that ever played the game.....even though I think he is, but despite any numbers that any other QB has over him.
