 I have an extend a bed (different brand) as well. That thing is among the best additions that I've made to my Tacoma and I use it often.
Love the look on peoples faces when I haul out a cart of lumber like that.
They look at the truck, look at the lumber, and look at both again. Some raise their eyebrows, some look on disbelief, I even had one individual say to his buddy, "look at this moron!"
Then you pull this thing out of your bed, hook it up, load up and drive away.
    Priceless! :D

You knew enough to buy a Tacoma............, works for me!

It's really a very simple philosophy. If you're happy why can't I be happy for you? :notsure:

The answer would still be no. Both have been discussed in depth throughout TW. For looks or sound, go for it. I’m really just saying this so you’re not misinformed. I know sometimes I try to be a dick, but not in this case. If the shop is selling you it based off performance increase, find a new shop because they are trying to take advantage of you.

I could use something like that! Would it work with an Extang Solid Fold 2.0? What brand/whatever is that?

Very cool. I'm actually a East Coast guy, living close to the fort. Love it here. I just think your comments match what I'm thinking, which is weird...and we have almost identical trucks. I used your idea on the lights. lmao. Thanks.

It was almost exactly the same as this. I just used a single piece of metal strapping and bent it myself, then drilled some holes and used to self tapping screws in the bumper support. I just wished I used a little thicker metal for mine but if I have any issues ill just weld in some supports.
