What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Solid move! I painted my bed bolts and covered them with anti-seize when I added D-ring tie down points. I had to use a 4 foot breaker bar to get one of them to come out, if I had waited any longer; it would have snapped.

 

New cup holder insert.

 

No clue as we don't have inspections here in CA.

 

It comes with 3 brackets. Just the middle one needs to be made to fit the light in the little section up top.

 

Floor is a little dirty but here's the seats, they're from a 2013 DCSB Sport. I never minded the bench too much but what an upgrade these are!

 

Just installed 3rd gen OEM predator steps on my access cab. So stoked. They came in the mail in the perfect time while Im home from work for two weeks because of this corona virus lockdown going on in my part of California. Stay healthy friends

They are a JDM Philips led bulb that is designed for a Halogen housing.

Ok so let me give ya'll a run down and a huge endorsement to the new front end set up. So I was burning through wheel bearings (too lazy to install the seals for the axle) and was tired of being ginger with my spindles (bent one set), and wasn't happy with my old control arms so I completely rebuilt the front end. I used @glorifiedwelder gusseted spindles, JBA standard UCAs, @05Taco4x4 bearings and proper seals. These things held up great. I mean I can't say the same for my alignment it was all dickered!!! I probably jumped teeth on the rack as usual. But I dove in hard on some ditches playing around side loading the suspension, launched the truck in the air, and flew down some rough sections of trails. Now if I had some coilovers and air bumps that would of been much smoother. It was surprisingly smooth. @tweakit88 can attest to the truck being air born. I didn't know I was until he told me.

This was a casualty of diving into one of those ditches and drove out of the ditch with the tire off the wheel

 

I parked next to my coworkers... we work for Honda by the way. And also ordered my Eibach lift. Pretty excited about it. Or to be more specific my awesome girlfriend ordered my lift kit!

It doesn't say its designed for halogen reflectors. I am suspect as well. Still seems like it will throw massive amounts of glare.

 

Haha! Its behind the building so you only see shop bays. You can't tell it's a Honda dealership.

 

woa...they look new.....i wud like to replace mine with a good suspension seat, but the co that was making the black box to fool the electronics isnt any more.....I have added some xtra dense foam to mine for more comfort..

 

Well guys, I'm really ramping up the mods! Got the crappy old paint off the Tacoma lettering.... And wait for it....... Replaced the temp control nobs! All the off-road cool points now!

 

Thanks man yeah they look brand new. One thing is the wrinkles in the side bolster that are forming from getting in/out of the truck, but otherwise really happy.

What black box? I didn't find anything like that necessary.

Added a Plano box to the roof rack to carry recovery gear, jumper cables, tools and miscellaneous equipment:





Finally picked up my rock sliders from Bay Area Metal Fab *BAMF* and painted them and got them on this past weekend:
