Even with the boot over the clip there seems to be enough slop to allow water and dirt to vacate through the bottom. These are more to keep the shafts from getting pitted by being slammed with sand and rocks at speed.

My JPC on my body allows me 3 double mag pouches so a total of 6.

Was telling Dallas the other day that the GI aluminum mags will reliably feed if filled with 28 rounds.

Use the black steel HK mags and they'll reliably feed if filled with 30.

SWIM has several C products and D&H ones that don't seem to have feed issues with 30 rounds

No "holes" per se but the boot is not tight on the clip, there is wiggle room which should be enough for drainage. I'll check them after my next wet adventure

Well it could also be the fact that they're aged, and the follower just needs replacing. Let's not forget the inside of the mag body could be dirty, especially where the follower drags.

I pack light for mobility anyway; I have soft armor but the advantage is I have a 24hr gun vs everyone elses 12hr gun

Read above; rather than do all that with a bunch of mags, we just got new ones.

I still have a lot of unused HK mags and just keep them looking that way; used my GI mags for 3 gun and range shooting.

I just realized our storage unit in the backyard is a double door so I won't be able to use it...hmm. Might get one anyway and risk it in the house

ya atm I'm just gonna use it on the door and if the foam wears then rotate it for now. Just gonna risk it in hopes this is only temporary, wondering if u put like duct tape on the door frames under the pull up bar frame, or another cushion if it'd help.

I don't have enough engineer juice in me to solve this rn haha

Well when my roommate broke the door frame it was just the sheer weight and force that did it...old house and all. He's an average sized guy, 6' maybe 185lbs. It wasn't one of those bars that extends to meet the sides of the frame, it was one of those pull up bars that hangs of the top of the door frame and then braces up against the sides. Pulled the top of the door frame right off lol.

Granted this wasn't right away, he'd been using it for a year or so before it finally happened.
