Good thing it's a recommendation! But I won't get into that on the forum as I don't want to be banned..

Kansas just shut schools for the rest of the year... Stupid. Especially when this could be calm in 2-3 weeks. Please California, at least let's be a bit smarter...

Kansas has 6 cases state wide, CA has way more. Just a stupid unnecessary knee jerk reaction

So... apperantly a 63 year old man, with type II diabetes, recovered from the wuhan flu, enough to walk out of the hospital in 1/3 the time they say it should take for a normal healthy adult.

    So...

    Was it a miracle?
Did he get treatment from a higher intelligent being from another planet?
Or... are we maybe being fed some bullshit to go with our toilet paper?

Youre comparing a coastal state with direct international flights to a middle-of-nowhere state with no direct international flight.

No shit..... its not rocket science to understand coastal states get the influx of people coming in..

That has nothing to do with political decisions and everything to do with travel logistics.

I think that considering the entire planet is taking steps to minimize the impact of the pandemic and educate the populace on how to minimize the impact of this deadly viral outbreak, you should probably stop poo pooing this and take it seriously. Like your picture of the shopping cart stuffed full of groceries in the other thread... Oh, nevermind. The picture you shared just above this post.

For the uninformed in the thread, China, Taiwan, and South Korea are actually using their collective intelligence and manufacturing capacity to help mitigate the spread of the virus.
The general populace there are practicing safe social distancing and proper hygiene as well as quarantine at the worst hot spots.

People in the USA are buying fucking toilet paper and calling this mess a "conspiracy theory" from aliens.

If people here are taking it seriously, it should help stop the spread.

Kansas has about 3 million residents or 1 in 500,000. Better to stamp that bitch out while the numbers are lower. California has 360ish reported cases but the numbers aren't accurately reported for whatever reason. Washington State and New York both have more than double the cases CA has...
