All I know is the regular flu kicked my butt this year. 4 days off work (although I tried to take care of my also sick toddler for the first two...).

If this other flu is half as bad I do not wish it on anyone.

Weird though that the regular flu and the corona virus symptoms are very similar.

So... I guess we missed the part where we were talking about a 63 year old with type II diabetes.

And... even as you explain it... viruses don't have weaker and stronger versions of the virus... there are weaker and stronger people infected by the virus.

    The virus is the virus.

There are two strains of the virus, "L-type" and "S-type" with "L-type" being more aggressive..

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I know a lot of people the past 6 months who had mild flu-like symptoms but tested negative for flu... So who is to say this hasn't been around for a while and we just didn't know what it was? Would have given it plenty of time to mutate again from original strain.

No idea but the flu sucks regardless and I consider myself a very healthy person.

Well that has got to be impossible.

Because that would mean there are A LOT more people who have had the virus, and that A LOT more people have had FAR less severe symptoms with it.

    That can't be because...
    A) It would mean the mortality rate is far less than what they are saying.
    B) It hit and NO ONE was prepared... so blame wouldn't fit in some of the places it's being directed.

From reports, the virus has been around Wuhan since November 2019 but the reports were suppressed by the government there.
Its confirmed its from a bat and infection started during preparation of the bat.

My concern right now is the timing of all this shit...

We barely got rain this season so less snow up there..meaning expectations of a drought and a dry season... wildfires are going to fucking suck....

That's funny. I stopped by Grocery Outlet on the way home. Picked up some brownie bites (among other things). Gotta stock up on the essentials.

Work is shut down until the county order is lifted and I spent today doing nothing but sit at home being pissed off at the world.
Going to spend the morning tomorrow sorting at the food bank. Need the distraction and they need the help.
Don't drink anymore and never took up golf. My options are quite limited.
