Anyone into R/C?

Rc4wd scx10ii leaf spring conversion and the new element ifs conversion. Just waiting for my shapeways order for the adapter to put the ifs on a scx10ii frame

 

That's gonna be sweet when done.

I am interested in the ifs kit, i just think it needs to be moved up into the frame. The upper arms should be at the frame at least, and the shock should mount in the stock location. Am i the only one that thinks it all just hangs down too low? I guess i like More of an LCG setup.

I guess this looks more like the drop bracket lift of the scale world. Except the reality of switching SAS to IFS, which doesn’t happen in the full size...ever.

 

I think part of the issue is its for a different platform then then scx10ii that its on now. So because its a different frame that had to adapt the mounts. Also I think they are trying to match it with the stock rear end ride height.

 

On the enduro it sits higher i feel like

I don't have room on my shelf for an SCX10iii but they look pretty sweet

 

I just started another scx10ii build and the iii comes out...

 

I will definitely be getting the iii, after another body option comes out. Or I may go ahead and get one and sell the heep body.

 

They need a honcho on the iii chassis

 

Yes, but it needs some changing from the last ones. Plus, anything but a damn jeep.

 

Needs a smaller bumper

 

I'll be in for sure with a honchoiii. I read that they will be releasing straight axles offset as well done the line. I hope the honcho gets portals

 

I’m definitely ordering a iii on release, they sold me, I guess I am a fanboy lol. Hopefully all this chaos is past by then. And it looks like a umg 6x6 with portals will come, hell yes. I have been hovering the buy button on a traxxas 6x6.

 

Anymore progress pics on this build? I need to try and order one now, I’m wanting to build a class 1 truck, not sure what chassis yet. What size tires are you going to run?

 

Probably stick with 1.9 for now. Already got a truck with 2.2s.

 

Thats pretty sick! As narrow as it is, id stick with the 1.9s.

 

Also these 1.9 are left overs from this truck which has 2.2 now.
So why buy more tires when I already got some
