I think you should consider something similar to the Eastwood product, if not their frame coating. Once you get the lose pieces out, that zinc impregnated phenolic resin will essentially replace the garbage-coat that Toyota uses. It adheres to bare metal and any remaining powdercoat neutralizing and sealing the metal from further oxidation. The additional FF lanolin wax layers will help repel moisture. So the Eastwood product would be a chemical process to convert most of the rust as well as sealing it with the resin component. FF is like wax on your paint. Just an added layer of protection.

I'm not trying to sell the Eastwood stuff, but having knowledge of the process just helps to make an informed decision lol

    thanks!
i have a lot of the Eastwood stuff (several different products) watched their garage tutorials and have not come across any real negative reviews & experiences as i have with products such as POR-15
they were short staffed in their tech office yesterday to see what else would be good and if i can exchange for the internal frame coating i bot (4 cans of it lol)

i had started using the extreme chassis primer they have on the outside of my frame where i could sorta clean and reach and time will tell if its good and will not crack, peel, chip easily, etc.

maybe i will have to flash rust the interior of the frame as a last resort to use the internal frame coating properly :annoyed:

looks like humidity corrosion on the interior top coating to me :notsure: but i know not much about this stuff
this is the access hole right next to the fuel tank
i scoped out as far to the rear as i could, the resolution seems decent on this borescope

this one is a little further back in the box by the C channel area
