Actually, still going in to work. Too much to coordinate to try and do from home and file access is snail slow to. Company solution given recent history would just be to get rid of more people and let me do it all, I'm at 2.5 peoples stuff now.

I'm just going to keep wearing my foil hat until we finally burn it all to the ground.

My sister runs the Emergency side of the Chicago Hospital that had one of the first cases (husband and wife) in US. Last I heard from her was CDC modeling says we would need 9 million more hospital beds in USA by end of month if nothing is done.

Well restaurants and bars are closed. You wouldnt need a hotel just to drive to the trail. Wash your hands after you get gas and youre good to go.

Just in Denver and summit county right? I don't think they're closed state wide. But yeah, it's avoidable if you plan ahead for sure.

You could easily go on a trail run, get fuel and food safely. I would consider it less exposure than getting essential supplies at the grocery store.

Inadvertently my gearbox in the back of the 4runner is home to TP and disinfecting wipes, who knew I was a closet prepper.

Anyone running a high dollar 1st aid kit in their trucks? I've been debating one of those $250+ kits because of the remoteness of some of the trails I've been doing lately. Outerlimitsupply is high on the list but like the bags some of the other companies offer for molle attachment.

I went to their site and looked what was included in their bags and got it separately from Amazon and other random site. Check your local clinics, hospitals, Fire or police stations for freebies that you can put in the kit. Then I just purchased a red molle backpack online and put it all together. I can dig up some photos if ya want

Was rummaging through the insulation in the attic of a house I recently purchased and found this piece of history. For context the house was built in 1927.

    IMG_20200315_112349.jpg

Zoom in on the date at the top of the paper - published in 1930! There are headlines about falling stock prices (great depression), prohibition, a coup in Brazil, the A's winning the world series, and a Denver grocer shot in a holdup. The grocery store was on colfax....I guess colfax has been sketchy for the better part of a century.

    IMG_20200315_112925.jpg

Thinking I should get this framed and hang it in the house.

In my whole life, this is the first time work has ever called in sick to me.
    Should I demand a doctor's note?

Outer limit Supply worked with Overland Bound & their Emergency Rm Physician.

They have a list of every thing in it somewhere in the Forum. I just compared what was missing to medical kit I had put in a Pelican case and added what I thought I needed. Much cheaper than if I just bought their kit.

If I "ride" with @johntoyota I will just go ahead and bring an Ambulance! :D
