I have a few M&Ps and they are nice but they don’t even come close to the smoothness and accuracy of my Sig Saurs.

Haha. I was just referring to the comment where dude referred to pistols (in general) as Glocks. I never really understood the M&P trigger safety’s myself but damn are they sweet.

I installed a Console Vault. I use it to lock up my Glock when I'm at places that doens't allow concealed carry.

I also have a console vault and would recommend one. When I’m in the truck I holster my EDC next to the shifter. Vault is only there as a last resort option: entering GOV building etc.

You totally missed my point. I own a Glock and I wouldn't post pics of where I hide it.

Your so right, mostly anti gunners refer to all pistols as glocks.. And I had to laugh because every time I typed glock my stupid tablet auto corrected it as block. Which they are as blocky as they come.

Many great guns out there I personally prefer ones in the "service pistol" category.

might be a good spot to hide the weed, I would never hide something i may need in a split second like that, would take too long to get to it when it may be needed. best place is on your hip.

I shoot a Glock 23 .40 and it kicks like a little mule. Then I shot a buddy's 1911 .45 and it was so smooth like butter. I was amazed I thought bigger round bigger recoil but that metal frame really absorbed alot more than my Glocks smaller caliber polymer frame.

This is OK for leaving the gun in the vehicle but IMO not wise for regular carry. You'll never get to the gun in time. Plus you lost all your storage.

Weapons need to be on your person.

That's the "snappiness" of the .40 round in a polymer pistol. I have a 23 too, and know exactly what you're talking about. I used to shoot 200 rounds every time I took it to the range, but these days I really don't want to shoot more than 100 rounds at one time. That's why I've switched to 9mm. I can shoot that all day without pain.

This. Mine is always locked/loaded in the console vault. When driving, the code is unlocked.

I heard a lot of agencies are switching from .40s to 9mm due those exact reasons. My dad just traded his.40 for a 9mm for those same reasons you listed also, plus better follow up shot placement and being able to shoot all day and cheaper rounds to begin with are all pluses of the 9mm. I dont want to give my .40 up but I would think about buying a 9mm. Is yours a Glock?

Heck no! I bought a Walther PPQ. When compared to a G19, the PPQ has a much better trigger, better ergonomics, points better...and reliability is a push. Glocks have more aftermarket support, but you won't have any problems finding sights, holsters, magazines, etc. for the PPQ. The only other striker fired pistol I would consider would be the HK VP9.

I agree on Walther PPQ! I have one (as shown in my avatar lol) and it’s one of my favorite pistols.
