I really miss this show. Biker TV shows were great until American Chopper poisoned the genre.

See, that dude has skills that i don't! I don't know how he wasn't sparking that whole

Yeh they're definitely more comfort and not speed. I know they've tried many things to put themselves in the speed market but I don't think you can paint the spots on a leopard, or whatever that saying is. They can be fast, but they'll never be as fast, or handle as well at high speeds, as the sports bikes, or even dual sports. Like @fatfurious2 said, though, these days I am happy to putt along, just enjoying the ride.

That's why you had to rent a truck to go get your apocalypse bike!

I really should pick up a sport-tourer and an ADV bike. Both can be hooned hard, comfy for decent stretches, one will be fast and the other for solo-camping. I've done the literbike game and man that's a lot of speed to get caught doing without too much else going for it near me.

that too.. but he said litre bike and adv

I wanted one of those, but the $17k price tag turned me off. I much like the RC8R better

I'll take them both - Superduke for the street, RC8R for the track.

Have zero complaints about my 1090R as an ADV ride. Great combination of balance, power, all day comfort and surprisingly nimble in the tight stuff

Yeah, those 1290's are cool, but not what I'm looking for. A KLR or DR would make more sense. Something I could throw a rack on for a journey, and remove once I'm there for some single track/2 track trails.

dont forget the xr650l would be another ideal candidate when comparing klr, dr, drz, xt, tw etc. etc.

Yup, those too. Looking for something in the large dirt-bike realm for serious mile eating ability. Gotta get to where the camping is good after all.
