Our store had plenty of UTZ thanks to people like you Brian. The corned beef however was a bust. They had Boars Head brand but at triple the price, so I opted for a 15lb fresh ham. That will go into the oven instead.

About the only positive for you in all of this is that traffic appears to be decent. I hope people respect each other wherever you are in your travels.

WFH Day #3.................... why do I feel like we are living a nightmarish movie that I never believed would happen?

 

Love a nice ham. Good choice.

 

Well, for the money I can get a bunch of meals from a ham. Also, the Shoprite we go to always runs a "spend this much from x to x and receive a free ham" deal for most holidays so the $25 ham was essentially free.

We don't eat a lot of meat, and especially pork products, but we do really like ham, and the leftovers make some of the best red beans and rice you've ever tasted.

 

Oh ya ham makes all kinds of things. Love ham n bean soup. Plenty of ham n cheese sandwiches and omelets. We try to go without meat at least once a week for dinner.

 

5 out of 5 stars for my local Costco. I was there at 10 AM today. Parking lot was XMAS eve packed. They had pre-sanitized carts, all checkout lines open, pre-checkout checkers. I was loading the truck at 10:30 AM.

I shopped more surgical than usual, I skipped my usual browsing through the OLED TV’s and misc electronics. Added to my long term strategic fruit juice, snack-junk food, canned tuna and soup reserve. Also made a Short term tactical stuffed salmon purchase.

Going to fill up 2 more new jerry cans with gas today!

Not sure. Dicks had some Remington on sale, showed up on their site, so I was going into town anyway, stopped by but the shelves were empty and that's when they said it's going so quick when they do get it in that the website can't keep up.

At under $14 a box I can understand why. They did have some .45 though. That'll be my next build.

 

Somebody has the "Build Bug". Its easy to catch.
