I see lots of #overland™ trucks with their tents, gas cans and squeaky clean Maxtrax boards driving around that look like they just drove off the lot.

Then I see an incredibly small minority like my neighbor who has scratches all over his truck and is constantly covered in mud, with a bed rack that only has stuff on it when he goes wheeling.

To me, the whole overland look is just that, a look.

You’re taking yourself entirely too seriously. Also a hammer can spread butter in a pinch.

    It’s a chainsaw

You figure someone spouting sarcastic shit could spot it when they see it. I'm hardly ever serious. Text can be difficult I guess. Sorry I corrected you with the correct machinery name. Continue with your void of knowledge.

    Void is my favorite color.

Don't look at it too long, or it starts looking at you. What other colors can do that?

Can confirm. Had to replace the plate though and it shattered under the sheer awesomeness that is an 8lb sledge. If you're telling me that's not the way to spread butter when you're in a hurry, I frankly don't give a dam

You can use a hammer or an axe or a chainsaw to spread butter. You can also film it with your eye phone. You can then turn it into a GIF with gif maker. And you can then post it in a thread. This is what legends do.

bonus points for filmed reaction of significant other reacting to your “kitchen movie”

Step 1: get significant other/person who overstayed their welcome. Step 2: carnage. Step 3: TW fame and respect from people who realize you're insane

I’ve had to use mine once, mired in some ruts the truck had dug in some soft swamplands. They didn’t work, as they were too wide to really bite into the ruts. Found a branch to throw into it, tires bit it and clawed me right out.

Considering strapping in a tree instead

I'm going to overland the shit out of my truck because I love the fact that people get so butthurt about it.

I mean truly, there's bigger issues, like people who buy TRD Pro trim.

Currently at work so no access to toast. If i did have some, I'd take it out to our excavators and just drop the bucket on it
So you're going to spend x amount of dollars...as a joke? I'm listening

No no don't focus on that part, it'll never actually happen. You're supposed to be upset that I called out TRD Pro's or my entire post was in vain.

Exactly. But what would you call it? Would you call that chainsaw that is spreading the butter, a hammer? Or that axe, a chainsaw?
