    I live in La,
I work in a hospital so I’m still working and no chance of us working from home any time soon.
At times I feel safer in here than out in the community due to the strict regulations being enforced by the hospitals.

All this stock buying is horrible. I have two young children and everywhere I go- baby wipes and distilled water is out.

Either way we’ll all get through this one way or another. Looking forward to some wheelin some time soon

I myself have been sent home from work till min 3/26. There is talk about them pushing that out to 4 and maybe 8 weeks... I am lucky though and still am getting paid. I do have cabin fever already though... fishing tomorrow

My wife on the other hand has been told she can work from home but still needs to visit some properties (OSR for an internet company) problem is most properties are letting visitors in currently.

they also told her she only gets paid for what she works so an 8 hour day full of driving from place to place has turned into a 3-5 hour day depending on what properties are shut down.

I'm a self employed photographer in Hawaii and our family is 100% dependent on tourism. Cancellations flooding in and deposits flowing out. The time ahead is going to be not just no income, but negative income. I'd say it'd be nice to enjoy the beaches but they are closed...

Oregon I heard has done away with the wait time.

I wish them luck and pray for everyone in that kind of situation

I work with computers for Uncle Sam, and there’s only so much I can do from home. I work half day at work and half at home. They stagger people around at work to minimize the amount of people there at any given time. And if I leave the local area it’ll be “strongly suggested that I voluntarily 14 day self quarantine” which means I’ll just full time telework.

I’m loving that so far, both because it’s easy and because I really am glad people are starting to take this seriously to try and flatten the curve.

I work in Operations at a Power Plant. We’re considered essential since a massive power outage wouldn’t help this situation at all. The Province is taking CoVID very seriously, as they should be. If you still think Governments are overreacting, you need to do some research on the situation in Italy.

Here, all schools closed on Monday. By Tuesday, all daycare facilities and most workplaces where people can work from home. Any place of entertainment is closed, movie theatres, bars, gyms. All sports and recreational activities cancelled. Literally any event at all is cancelled. They’re even urging people to not have funerals.

Most infected people will be fine, but you don’t want this to spread to you families. There’s nothing that makes you feel more helpless as a parent than watching you son or daughter become ill. If your city/town hasn’t started making changes already, then they’re already way behind in preventing the spread of this disease.

We're still able to order Water Wipes on Amazon which is what we normally get for our 3 month old daughter. No soap in them, just water, so regular folk panicking over the virus don't tend to buy them in cases like this.

However I think most parents aren't able to find their normal wipes lately, so now they're ordering these too. The big box is completely unavailable on Amazon right now but you can order the smaller packs of 4 to be delivered early April, just FYI. They're called Water Wipes. I just ordered a couple after seeing that they're starting to disappear as well, we go through them fast.
