Good thing he didn’t ask you… just saying

I’m not into the whole safe space thing- that’s ridiculous on its own. But there are too many people here that have too much time on their hands that they feel the need to criticize what someone else does when their opinion was never requested. Mods don’t like coming here (3rd gen) it’s like the Wild West in here… what you talkin bout Willis.

it’s 2 extremes in these parts: the ones that complain about the smallest thing (I had a fiber pull out of my headliner… is this normal) or those that have something to say about anything and everything (that shit is stupid just use the gas tether cord; just use your handle :D (@Rottencotton))

    but for real

At least the rear disk brakes and diesel options threads are dead.

Mine did this (couple times) when I first bought it and after a wash and sitting for the night. Hasn’t happened in over a year now. Not sure what changed but so far so good

Yep, this happened after I washed it, reversed into the garage for the night... Maybe I’ll drive it around the block after a wash.

I guess I haven’t been around enough for the diesel but have seen plenty of the “it’s 2019/18/17/16 and still have drums?” Way to bring it to the top again

It’s that aluminum up charge  I did find a discounted price online that I got my dealer to match without adding sales tax on top and just worked it in. I like the fact it’s aluminum and that it has a Bedliner type coating

Love your truck! What lift are you running? Any issues with the safety sensor and that nonsense system?

Thanks man, it's running the Eibach pro truck. No issues at all with sensors and such!

And had my dobinson struts springs and shock, Head strong 1/4 spacers both sides, just put in with Dakar med leaf pack. Also had installed Spc ucas ecgs bushing and be ko2 285/70/17. Couldn’t be the happier. Going to do a review of my experience later. Looks about level maybe a tad nose high but I will be putting a winch in soon so that will add weight up front . But I’m sure it’ll settle no rubbing at all anywhere

Swapped out the in-dash tweeters a month or so ago. Just got these delivered today so kind of pumped to get all of the door speakers swapped out this weekend. I feel like I caught a decent deal on them. Crutchfield had them for $189 shipped when I originally did the dash speakers so I decided to hold off a bit and got them for $164 shipped and of course with the free brackets and plug and play harnesses from Crutchfield on Monday.

Also finally able to catch the Me-So headlight trim plates in MGM back in stock last week so those will be going in this weekend as well.

I got my speakers from Crutchfield but they advised against the Kicker speakers for the doors. Said the factory headunit didn't have enough ass to drive them.

They didn't steer me in another direction....odd. Of course, I went with all of the positive recommendations here and around the net. I'm going to go with what I have with fingers crossed that it works, but now I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit worried.

If you don't mind me asking, what did they recommend to you?

Installed the pro skid today. A little bit of a pain in the ass to do by yourself. Love the look of it though.

They recommended MTX speakers for the doors and that's what I went with. The 6x9's (Front) wouldn't fit in the supplied brackets so I sent them back. They recommended Pioneer's as replacements so I went with them. So I have Kicker Tweeters and Pioneer TS-G690's in the Front, MTX Terminator6's in the rear. They sound fine to me but I'm no golden ear. Can't really say if Crutchfield steered me wrong or right since I never heard the Kicker door speaker. Hope you're satisfied with them. Report back when you get them installed.

Mine's done it every time I used the parking brake after an under carriage wash at the local car wash. I stopped using the parking brake for the night after the car wash. I've heard it's easier to get it to release in reverse, but I back into my driveway too and can't reverse out of it.
