It's going to have a material impact on my employer and likely me.

We have to remember the Coronavirus was just the pin that popped the bubbles. The economy as a whole has been unhealthy for years. It seems like everyone levered up instead of cleaning up their balance sheets

schools are shut down because even if younger people don't get sick, they can still be contagious and transmit/carry the virus.

I don’t believe it is an overreaction. I think that most people understand the severity of the situation. It is going to get worse in the next couple of weeks before it gets better. The writing is on the wall from Asia and Europe. Fortunately it didn’t start here. Hindsight is always 20/20 but it is such a mysterious virus. Here in Ohio we have taken the most extreme measures the fastest in order to contain it. It is definitely going to kill the economy for who now how long. Hopefully being proactive will save lives and get rid of the virus. If it ends up being contained fairly quickly, weeks instead of months, then it would be worth it.

Exactly, kids show very mild symptoms, they are worried how fast they’ll spread it to their families.

Could be. Everything I normally deliver to is still getting deliveries. I only have one liquor store on my route but they only get a deliver like once a month. Most of mine are gas stations and Dollar General/ Family Dollar's along with pharmacies (Walgreens/CVS/Independents).

This bitch was loaded to the back door Monday. How we rolled out with 2 trucks. Really needed my big trailer back along with my Kenworth instead of this pos.

This is something a lot of people are not able to see. If people riot over a hurricane, a president being elected or the Lakers wining a championship then it really wont take much to spark that flame with this current situation. The second people start to hear they can no longer buy essentials like water and food and TP they will most likely go into survival type mode and start stealing what they need, then of course your opportunist will join the party by stealing TV's and looting stores and that's when shit can really hit the fan.

That’s cool and all but until they test ALL the people showing symptoms instead of sending them away there won’t be any stats that are true

Large store is pushing 20,000 cases a week right now. We're normally at 10-11,000 a week.

I'm small store and running 21 or so pallets a day.

I hoard a bit of everything haha being a backpacker its in my nature to be prepared to survive for days or weeks on end with only what you can fit on your back.
