But lets see....impacting me?... I am just working from home. Cant escape the kid and just work. Plus I am now her teacher, so I feel a little stressed about having to try and do a decent job there, even though the teacher has been super cool and very 'no pressure'. Shes only 5 for fvcks sake. We just live in a more affluent area where there are a lot of stay-home people who probably can adapt and become a parent teacher. We still have to work all day. Good news there is aside from working remotely, our jobs are basically the same as always, so that helps to not add stress.

jberry, the tests that are being given by labcorp and quest are more accurate and have been approved by the CDC that's why they are starting today, previous tests were giving false positives/negatives and were not accurate as the ones today

If you don't already practice personal security now is the time to catch up. Lock your doors and windows, get your valuables out of your vehicle, watch out for your neighbors etc.

Many police departments are ceasing proactive policing. They won't be actively seeking those with warrants. Many agencies will only respond to in progress violent crimes. Many non violent criminals won't be arrested but instead referred for charged after this breaks. Many jails will only take in violent subjects. It's the perfect storm for thieves to do their thing without impunity.

I work as a food service delivery driver (deliver groceries to restaurants in a big rig tractor trailer, think sysco or us foods). We do all of socal and it is dead slow...food service has always been slammed busy even in 2008 since everyone eats. Layoffs are possible and I I delivered to customers this week who were literally crying because this pretty much bankrupts their small mom and pop restaurant
