    Good afternoon,
    I have a switch pro 8100 and there is some cracking of the insulation at the large connector for the switch panel harness. Ideally, I would like to source the connector or pins and just rebuild the connector itself. Of course, SwitchPro only wants to sell me the entire harness for $65 as opposed to a part the cost pennies. Anyone have luck sourcing these parts?

    Personally I’d just buy the harness and be done with it. Way faster and easier than buying a connector and having to swap all the pins over and hoping there’s no issues

    Thank you for your opinions gents. Rebuilding a connector is actually incredibly simple and should not be avoided due to inexperience. Changing your oil is more challenging. Anyone have useful info?

    This has no bearing on how one chooses to setup the system. This is the factory part to replace 16 pin connector on the harness. This is for the 8100 only. It appears from the pic above they have redesigned the 9100 plug arrangement, possibly separating the control panel harness, so this most likely will not work for that device.

    It sure does. With the terminals you just crimp and insert the wire from the added accessory....
    And it IS the same connector...wiring/pin-out is different.

    P.S.
    The recommendation everyone disregards...

    Yes, in theory you could do that. I ran my outputs to two separate Deutche connectors and two dedicated harnesses out to accessories. This way I don't have to mess with the connector ever again. The small plastic clips inside the connector that hold the conductors are quite fragile.
