Wait another week and the dealers will be more willing to deal with COVID19. Can't imagine there be a lot people out there with $50K+ cash of discretionary money with the impending financial crisis. More power to you if you're that lucky person. Why not wait until Tuesday March 31st, last day of the month? My gut tells vehicles are not flying off the lot.

I would delay that purchase until March 31st. Dealers will be salivating to meet March sales quotas.

 

You should have no trouble getting 3k off sticker...I know you could get more like $3800.

A lot of dealers around me including Findlay Toyota are closing until next month due to the virus. You can still email them and leave your truck for service but that's about it.

The worlds largest Toyota dealer, Longo, closed its showroom yesterday at midnight until the end of the month.

 

Toyota seems good at not having Tons of Inventory sitting around like Chevy and Dodge, but even those guys were smart enough to halt production for now. Unfortunately with companies like Toyota, if you want a hard to find Model you can't get as big of a discount since they are just not around. On the opposite end of the Tacoma spectrum, I spent over a year trying to find a base model Access Cab in MGM and if you are not willing to travel across country you just can't find them. My work prevents me from going far to buy something so I had to be patient. I had several Tacomas I would've considered get sold while I played the negotiation game.
