I don't think your has the anti-siphoning "door" in it but if it does you need to get a hold of the hose with long needle nose pliers etc, then insert something metal like a STIFF coat hanger or metal coiled liner for welder etc to hold the door while you pull it out otherwise you might be dropping the tank. Sorry. I used to remove these a the time at the shop

    Hmm.

I’ll try to take pics of what I want to un-clamp tomorrow and show you, it’s pretty far up near the underside of the bed so idk if it’d have any effect on the tank itself. But you likely know better than I do so I’ll snap a pic and post it tomorrow !

@Spizike231 I am in citrus heights if you want to come over tomorrow and get it outta there.
Edit: I'm 90% sure that it the harbor freight one, the copper head is probably what is stuck

Amazon came through today with Diapers! So glad we don’t have to go to cloth diapers. Didn’t even think about people hoarding diapers until this pst weekend when we opened the last section of our box. We normally buy a months worth at a time from Sams. No one around had diapers. About the only thing that has scared me with all of this chaos

I appreciate that! I may take you up on that once the locking cap comes in!

So you think it’s a anti siphoning piece someone may have put in it? I’m def not the original owner.. this truck has seen some days

Not sure... The 80's are hit and miss with the gas theft deterrent stuff. It might just be stuck. If it is the harbor freight siphon I think it is, it has a big copper fitting on the end and it can get stuck pretty easy. Fingers crossed it comes out easy. I have everything to anything we need so message me if you want to bring it over, we could probably get two other TW guys over to help if we need as well (within yelling distance). Just let me know what you wanna do

Interesting. Thank you for the offer, really. It’s appreciated and I may take you up on that.

From my eyes in person, this is stuck about 5-7 inches down from the opening of the gas filler, and the piece itself looks to be orange plastic not bronze or metal at all.

Looks like it might be surgical tubing.

I don't wanna wish ill on someone but stealing gas could potentially leave someone in a bad way-I hope you swallowed hard friggin' thief.

Not enough to have a build thread.
Edit: didnt see what was actually inside until I started reading everyone elses comments.

I'd second the copper tip for your standard cheap siphon hose.

    She ain't stock anymore.
My question is, is there a mini fridge in the bathroom, or are they waddling out to the kitchen to get the job done?

You're not wrong, I'll get to that eventually. For now at least I have two of the small batteries and they recharge about as fast as they drain.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
On the plus side, this stay at home thing gives me time to get Levi started riding a bike and all the other various things he should know... But didn't get taught in my 18 months overseas. Next is relearning how to tie a shoelace.
