Jose Cuervo will never pass these lips again nor any tequila. A couple of multi day hang overs was enough. Every one I know has at least one tequila story and they all end badly. I can have a glass of whiskey and end there, not so with takillyou.

Hope your wifes daughter and family make it home safely. Did the resort that they are at extend their stay? This virus has the airline industry in a mess. The missus and I are both retired so we dont have to worry about getting back to a job like a lot of folks do. I still dont know when we'll be getting home .

I have heard the restaurant business is especially tough. I wonder how many will survive this Corona Virus mess.

    Good morning Susan, gang,
Moving around still, little more snow o/n. Take a shower early, coffee after to hear the news on the radio.
Crazy things, don't see this will be positive to our lives, especially those in schools. Disappointments in furthering sports careers, schooling. Lives, financial well being to those struggling.

Morning everyone! Day 1 of the entire college working from home. It's been n interesting two days finalizing the plan, issuing laptops and training people on how to access the network services remotely. It's going to be an interesting few months, I think.

We found out more about the daughter in law and family last night. Turns out they didn't leave until Sunday, and extended their stay until Saturday. (We thought the trip was Thu to Sun and were concerned because we got no replies over that time period.) They're not stranded, at least not that they know.

We also learned that at least 3 people we know tried to reason with them before they left and they told all 3 they were nuts. I think they think this is a hoax or something. The probable reason we did not hear back from them is that they got tired of people asking them not to go.

I'll let y'all know if/when they make it back home.

In the meantime my wife -- who is one of the people who asked them not to go -- has found yet another excuse to leave the house and go to a store. I laid into her for it but she's stubborn. I know where her daughter gets it from!

I hope they have better luck getting home then we are. Rumor has it if you do not get a flight by the 22nd we will be here for 30 more days after that. Total lockdown. Problem is, only limited flights coming in and all full going out:facepalm:. Oh well. We are still trying to contact United and it is virtually impossible to get an agent. Other airlines are only changing or making reservations for people already booked with them. I almost feel like Gilligan with Maryann but with a lot of other people around...... Time will tell what will happen. Stay safe folks. Only one confirmed case here.

    Good Morning

I'm taking 4 hours sick leave off this shift ... little self-quarantine into heading out to the mountain. Figure the threat of exposure is significantly lower out there.

Hope all goes well for them, Dave

Good luck getting a flight Ken . You are together, have you considered it might actually be safer to stay there for a while longer? We're up to 9 cases in AK now. Heard NJ's cases doubled overnight; quick Google Foo says NJ 427 cases, 5 deaths as of 11 hours ago. Just food for thought my friend. :fistbump:

Be safe and stay calm everyone.

More testing taking place so the number of cases will definitely jump. We’ll finally get a better sense of reality. For the PA folks, PA had its first Covid-19 death - in Northampton County. A 55 year old man.

    Good Morning :wave:Folks.

Thanks Rob. It looks like we will be here a bit longer than we had planned.
So far only one confirmed case. Yesterday a Delta flignt from Atlanta came in with Sint Maarten residents and 3 Americans on board. The residents were allowed to disembark but the 3 Americans were sent back home to Atlanta. Yesterday all restaurants are only allowed to do take out no dine in service. Supermarkets are stocked, even witn TP so we will be cooking in. I'm fine with the situation but the missus is wanting to get home..guess we will see come comes down the road. Enjoy the Mountain Rob and be safe.
