My brother in law and a dozen or so of his buddies bought seasons in 1980, back when you had to go to be sure you saw the game. They could walk up and get great seats, only reason they got the season tix is to all sit together.

I'll always be a fan. Curious to know why you failed that story..that's dumb.

I only care about loyalty if someone says they'll never leave or never go to this team, then does it..maybe then. Otherwise, agreed..you have to be in the business of you is my saying. Especially as an athlete, no guarantee what happens next.

Should be interesting to see what details come out about where it all fell apart. My suspicion is BB or Kraft wasn't going to give Brady the weapons to win and he decided to bail..but who knows.

I'll call em heroes or bums but they're still my team. Similarly I'm still a Brady fan no matter where he goes.

Anyone looking for a road bike who is about 5 ft 10? Or a bmx bike 21in TT LHD? Trying to clear out the bikes I don’t ride anymore. Posted to the book but figured I’d check in here.

heads or tails which way is the market going today?

Don't say obviously. There are random days where it decides to be up 10% and then the next day back down 10% so who knows.

Everyone's situation is different. I'm relatively young and I do believe the market will bounce back. It might not go all the way back but might as well buy some more while it's at a low so, when it does recover, it will help my retirement fund.

My financial advisor who works for ICMA-RC and tends to my retirement account told me that for EVERY dip the market has ever taken it has rebounded to a higher amount then ever reached before the downturn. This downturn will be temporary and it will return probably higher than it was before the sky started falling but the question is how long will that take? The last big drop the stock market took bottomed out at a little over 7K points in 2009. By the spring of 2013 the markets had recovered the ground lost from the previous DOW high of a little over 14K. So it took about 4 years to recover. We shall see how long it will take for this downturn to recover to the previous record high of 29.5K.

I up my contributions 1% every January 1st. Won't even notice 1% less each paycheck but over time it'll add up in the 401k. Ive pretty much lost all my gains from 2019 in it, but it'll come back. I'm also still having my monthly auto deposit to my investment account go through.
Like you said though, everyone's situation is different. I'm lucky and glad that mine, for now, has been unchanged with the exception of where I'm physically working from and that allows me to continue to plan for the future without needing a new plan.

My thoughts exactly! I'm young enough where the 4 years isn't an issue. It really sucks for people looking to retire within a year though. I feel bad for that class of people.
