Looks similar to engine oil getting milky from doing short trips. Might be the same?

quite possible. short trips without a full warm up for any motor isnt ideal. especially diesels. i know it also rots exhaust systems quick. moisture issue.

Thanks for chiming in bud! Hasnt been cold here in Tejas lately though..

My daily commute is 25 miles one way so it definitely gets up to temp regularly. I was thinking this might be head gasket related.. i think mine is on it's way out

With all the back and forth on T-Stats lately.. Stock T-Stat or Mishi 160? I picked up the 160 but based on some of the chatter I am debating keeping the stock one on.

Stock vs Mishi? Both being 160? I have a 160 in transit myself.

the stock is 180, mishi is 160. Been some chatter where folks may be leaning back to the 180.

It looks like it's a blown head gasket, though mild will start to get worse I time.

No point. The OE tow package oil cooler is Beasty as is.

I may go back to 180 at some point.

Makes sense then for me to just go with the stock one and see how things go. With the CSF it will prob be plenty fine. Especially around here. T-Stat is easy enough to swap if needed. Was not too expensive to hold for now.

Just seems almost too cool during city and idle. In highway under load instances it goes up to near OE cruising, so no sense in stepping down to a 160* stat.

most folks are running the stock one anyway so no harm in leaving it. I have it if I ever see the need to swap it in.

There is a point mate to an external air to air oil cooler. When under severe usage is where it shines. The oem cooler will be fine for 95% of folks on here.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
I am looking into retrofitting a tundra CAI, however it uses a different MAF. Does anyone know if the Tacoma and tundra plugs are pinned the same? I understand there is a tuning part associated with this as well. I will ping @JustDSM also.
