It looked incredible. You guys did an amazing job on all the decor (Matt gets partial credit for the metal work) and I was happy to see it all continued on schedule despite the madness. Good job momma

Considering everything going on, I wanted to check in with folks. Does everyone have everything they need? Is everyone hanging in there?

So now that the whole state is on house arrest does that mean I can't even drive my Taco? I'm looking out at the window at her and I'm pretty sure she isn't understanding why we didn't go out today. P.S. I hope you are all well and healthy.

You can still do most things as long as it’s not a group as I understand it. Dining, movies, some work scenarios are out. But grocery shopping, getting meds, walking the dog are still ok. I imagine going for a drive is ok.

I wouldn't mind going out and hitting a bucket of golf balls. But, sadly, the courses near me are closed. Sheesh, it's outdoors. Oh well. May go take a ride on my motorcycle today. Maybe cruise up to Mt Tam., or Diablo.

Golfing sounds like great social distancing, but I think its unfair to have to force the employees to expose themselves (lol) with everything going on, and golf courses seem like high maintenance kinda places.

All of our parks are still open. If I didn't have to work, I'd be playing disc golf.

I got a cheapo set of discs when I moved into this house since there's a decent course within walking distance, but I have yet to go actually do it.

High maintenance is true. A guy on a lawnmower here, a guy with a shovel and wheelbarrow full of sand there. A guy driving the range ball cart. The only guy who really might be at risk is the cashier. Corica Park Golf in Alameda was considering opening up yesterday, according to their web site. An update was supposed to have been made, but looking at their site this morning, they have yet to update status. Of course, yesterday the governor put the entire state on Shelter In Place Order, so not sure how that will effect their decision. Greatly, I imagine. :(

Dryden Park is closed. At least that's what their web site said a couple days ago. That's Modesto. Castle Oaks was open in Ione, but that was before the governor made the shelter in place statewide.

San Joaquin county parks are open. The zoo at Micke Grove is closed. They just ask that people follow the guidelines for personal space.

Matt needs to be released from this ridiculous ban. He brings a lot to the forum, much more than some of the people who ban him for their personal agenda’s, or opposing political views. People who don’t like him, get their their buddy who share their same views, ban him. It’s sad really, just sad. The ability to ban someone is a tool being used for your own agenda. You claim it’s political but thats not the case most times. More often it is personal. This is similar to a child crying, throwing a fit and taking their ball home but instead it’s a kid banning him from the playground because you got your feelings hurt, or didn’t like what someone had to say. That’s what it is. You really look for reasons to ban him. TOS blah blah. That varies by member and mod. It’s so obvious, that it’s the mods making it a political point by banning him. Curious to know how old a few of you mods are. Seems to be pretty passive aggressive childish behavior. It makes a lot of people laugh at the mods involved. I will probably be banned for this, my post will be deleted and there won’t be an excuse for it in the “banned members thread”. That’s sneaky bullshit right there. You people like to change the rules. So when it happens you banned me for something political (which this is not) or ban me for hurting your feelings. I’m sure I did hurt some feelings so I want to apologize, to nobody. The skin is thin around here.
