Maybe the Toyota dealer won’t call me for my 20k service that I have to come in or I “void my Toyota care and warranty”. I know it’s a total lie. I am more than capable for doing my own oil change and tire rotation.

Meanwhile, here we are at Bass PRO open and even have Senior shopping hour. All ammo is gone and hand guns are depleting fast.

My local gun store near is selling their hand guns before they have a chance to hit the display case. Finding ammo is as hard to find as toilet paper.

This morning I called my local HVAC shop - my house is way overdue for a coolant charge and general checkup of the system. Normally during March/April/May in Texas, A/C techs are so booked that you cant find an appointment less than a week away, sometimes a month if its a reputable shop. The tech on the phone this morning asked me what time I expect to be home today - she'll meet me as soon as I say the word go.

The way I figure - people are going to realize that their cash reserves won't outlast the recommendation to isolate. Business will need to go on eventually, even if it takes a couple of weeks to adapt to the new realities of germ control and economic recession.

Businesses will need to think outside of the box to survive during these times. I predict that bartering for goods and services will make a come back in 2020. For example, do a brake job on my truck in exchange for replacing your leaking kitchen faucet, etc.

This is how I made it through tech school. I would go to school from 8 am. to 2 pm. Leave school and go to people's houses to repair their lawn mowers, atvs, etc. in exchange for food, gift cards, or they would come to my house and do carpentry work or what I needed.

Due the shortage of 9mm ammo, I looked to see what was readily available. We have plenty of .22 ammo, however, I did not have a .22 pistol. Well, as of this afternoon that is, now I have a, you might want to reconsider pistol, and if they don't, then I have my 9mm as back up.

Ammo runs always amuse me. The mags for my pistol and my carbine are full, 16 rounds each, with 68 rounds remaining in the box. I have much bigger problems if I even go through one of those. Who is expecting to blow through 5000 rounds? Its a virus, not Agent Smith from the matrix.

What carbine do you have? My truck gun is a Kel Tec Sub 2k. My EDC is a ruger EC9s, and now I have a Beretta M9 .22LR.
