Hang in there, retirement is on its way.

My wife thinks we will never retire.

I told her I will be semi retired in 6 years, no matter what.

I just got asked if we needed any assets to help fight COVID-19.

Me - "Uh, we're an IT security organization. If it starts infecting the servers we'll let you know."

Exec - "So, you don't need ANY part of $90M?"

Me - "No...spend it on improving telehealth systems and adding manufacturing capabilities for clinics."

Apparently my sentiments are being echoed across the VA. Give the money to the clinics, maybe add some VPN concentrators for the increased telework - otherwise, we're good.

 

Yeah i have heard that hackers are looking for home routers now.

Also cellular companies are putting everyone on unlimited data. Proving that the system can handle the added traffic. So they have been charging us different tiers because they said the system can't handle the added data.

Ironically, improvements made within the last year for 5G are making this possible. Don't know if the cellular networks could have done this even 2 years ago.

I was not the only one that noticed the "quickness" she went to work.... there is no way in HELL a woman got dressed in under 5 minutes straight outta the shower

 

I posted this link in another thread, but these people should be banned from traveling to any country for life. This is how infection or reinfection of areas occur
