Just a few things here. We have a 21.1gal tank. Although, that doesn't change the final octane much.

Second, the pump octane is a minimum average. I wouldn't assume that it is higher than stated though.

Finally, stations typically only purchase Regular and Premium octane, which is why you see only tandem fuel trucks delivering. Mid-Grade is mixed at the pump. So, if you have 87 and want to get 91, do the same math, but with a fill up of Premium. You're just doing what the station is doing. For example:

    ( 3 * 87 + ( 21.1 - 3 ) * 92 ) / 21.1 = 91.3

I am just using the octanes offered at my local Costco.

Yes but I didn't mean that I had it ready to go right when I posted that.

The posts I screenshotted and shared are extremely unclear then and maybe a bit misleading.

I dont think you mean any disrespect at all @GreyBaldTaco and some may get a little jumpy here about the questions, i cant speak on behalf of anyone but im sure if Mat has any deets at all that pertain to 2.0 final....the folks here will be the first to know. Good bad or indifferent... And dont take this in a bad way...just trying to keep folks from forming a dog pile lol.

edit: What this all boils down to...is everything is a cluster, and what was said before the crap hit the fan,..may not ring true in this current moment. Its just a product of current events and it sucks. Hopefully we all stay safe during this.

No disrespect meant, if its not ready just say so. Just pointing out, with screenshots so everyone is on the same page, that what was said seems to have been taken the wrong way by a number of people and maybe wasn't the clearest communication. I know all about managing expectations, I have to do it on the daily. Clear communication about where we are at in a process alleviates a lot of issues.

Okay to be clear that assuming we get no backlash we can release 16/17/18/ before 2019s, but I didn't mean it's ready for immediate release.

I can’t speak for everyone but take your time. I have a 2019 and have to live with the issues it presents every day and still don’t backlash.

To be honest, if I ever had a say in anything I’d prefer you release everything you can as soon as it’s ready to please the guys that are here everyday day in and out wanting more now now now just so they’d leave things alone. But that’s just me. All the while I’ll sit and wait because hopefully something will be released in the future to address the 2019 I have. No backlash from me but no way to promise many more won’t.

It'll be ready when it's ready. Although it would be nice, it's pretty low on my priorities.
