Not in a panic but there is also no such thing as enough ammo... let alone too much

Too funny. On a related note. What safe do you have? Mine is getting a little cramped/double stacked in some places.

Haha and there is the other part of the whole equation. At the moment I have an 18 gun ProVault made by Liberty for Cabela's. It is not ideal and I'm pretty sure cramped would be putting it lightly. I had go engage in a bit of tetris to get all this back in yesterday. I have had to hold the door shut while latching it if I don't get everything lined up just right.

Aside from buying guns in new calibers (which I try to avoid), I haven't had to purchase ammo since 2008. I was ordering a case a week. Any time I see a news report that they found a cache of ammo numbering in the hundreds I just laugh. I know guys that were buying by the pallet on a regular basis.

Just out of curiosity I just checked, and 7.62x39 Wolf is going for over $350 a case. Good gravy.

I've got a couple of weapons lockers I use. I'm not buying a safe until I buy a house. Ain't no way I'm moving a full on safe once it's installed.

Yeah moving this one wasn't too bad but still took 2 people with a hand truck. I think at this point I'm going to have to wait until I buy a bigger house before I upgrade and have no clue how I'm going to move it, probably going to need a damn forklift for it.

MDRX in for some T&E. Gonna see how it does compared to the aug,x95, and Tavor on accuracy and two gun runs. About a pound heavier than aug and a 1/2 pound heavier than x95, but feels solid

In this period of "Social Isolation/Distancing", I've placed a few of these around the house. Figured it's a good time to practice some fundamentals.

There are businesses/people who specialize in moving heavy safes.

They use really cool powered 2-wheel dollies, that can easily go up and down hills.

they also have one that can go up and down stairs as well

not a cheap service, but usually they are properly insured and reliable

many safe / lock stores can offer this service

Yup. Cost me 300 to get a 900lbs safe moved 29 miles. They put it on my ground level family room(man cave).
