When I worked maintenance I got called out to garbage disposal not working... Dudes had cleaned their muddy gear in the sink and clogged the drain, locked up the disposal, and burned up the motor trying to run it.

Gonna have to start doing what most 3rd world countries do and don't flush toilet paper at all, throw it in the trash. Or use your left hand, cause the right one needs to be kept clean for eating

Oh I should say we rent our house in Monrovia, so I'm not sure if it has been or not. But I wouldn't count on it

Then don't even worry about it! haha. Monrovia has some old homes for sure. I used to live in Glendora.

yeah it's an old Craftsman, one of the originals in the neighborhood...its definitely a cool little house. Emphasis on the little, though haha. 2 bedroom/1 bath, barely big enough for my wife and I and our 3 month old daughter. Nice size yards though

Damn, 34 year old guy just died of CV19 in Pasadena (where I work, live just a few min away)

    https://www.radio.com/news/34-year-old-man-dies-from-coronavirus

Says he was considered high risk for having asthma and bronchitis as a kid, and cancer a few years ago. Pretty close to home and we're the same age. I never had any health issues as a kid though.

No matter how new the house is, anything other than human waste or toilet paper is going to ruin your sewer lines. Our house was built in 2005 and wipes have backed up the sewer lines before.

Been there, done that. My apartment was built in the 50’s and I had to snake the toilet myself. Maintenance would’ve taken too long so I did it myself.

    2/10 would not do again.

Is today the day I’m going to fix the Mercedes?

Probably not, because the Nissan is blocking it in and the Nissan is being a lil bitch and doesn’t want to start.

Makes me even worried for myself just because I used to smoke up till a few years ago. I admit I'm looking at this more seriously than I was a couple weeks ago.

I still think though above all else cool heads prevail and the best we can do is protect ourselves, loved ones, and look out for each other. Once we start worrying to the point of panic it hurts everybody. Do what the CDC is asking. Be prepared but be sensible. Odds are you will be just fine, but don't give the odds a reason to start swinging the other way.
