Best tires for the highway?

I've seen plenty of commentary on which tires are the crappiest, but what is the consensus on best tire for 100% street/highway use? I drive about 40K miles a year - probably 90% highway - and want something that's quiet and will last.

In snow ... maybe the Michelin LTX AT2.

I have the AT2s and they are great on the highway.

You could also try Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo’s. Great on wet pavement, good in mud, not sure about snow. I got over 50k on them twice with my 99 Taco.

 

In a week I'll let you know my initial impressions of the MS2's, I'm getting a set put on this saturday or maybe not till next.

 

Agree with above concerning the MS2. Very quiet and smooth riding tire. Will last a long time and won't cup or wear funny.

 

If you're strictly highway with the truck, the MS2 will probably get you at least 100k on the tires, provided with proper rotation and maintainence.

 

Yep, Michelin LTX MS2 are great. Have them on my wife's 4runner and so far they have been awesome.
