I think they're the Universal's minus the bezel.

I pulled the boot completely out. Makes it much easier. The driver side has more wires so it’s a little harder than the passenger side.

Thanks for the tip. It worked (still not easy). For whatever reason, getting that harness through the boot kicked my ass and I lost a lot of time. I’ll finish tomorrow...hopefully.

I did this as well on both sides. So much easier, IMO

Tip: UNPLUG THE DOOR HARNESS ON THE INSIDE KICKPANEL AND PULL THE BOOT OUT INTO THE OPEN. It’s 100X easier to route the wire through when the boot is completely straight and more space to work on.

I also pulled the factory plug connectors out of the hole in the kick panel. I didn't cut the tape but just stretched the boot.

Thanks for all the great advise. Got the lights installed and just waiting for a switch plate for the switch. That driver side boot is a bitch. The rest of the install is quite easy.

Would also like to thank everybody for their info. Boots were toughest part but now I’m much more confident in wiring the taco ! There was a small gap on the drivers side mold. I filled it with an thin bead of black RTV. I. I bought my set secondary and it did not include the 10” extensions. I think if I didn’t also have the puddle switch I would have been just short. With the addition of the switches splitter I had just enough cable to reach a pillar !

CB6A6779-DE75-4125-A38F-D17CD581BB2D.jpg Ok so I’m having trouble putting the lower cowl trim piece back in place. Can’t get the clips to engage. Any tips on how to get these back on ? I can get them on but clips don’t pop in. So the door trim piece wiggles and isn’t sturdy when snapped back in.

I just went through that with both sides, they are a bad design and a total pain in the ass. Took me 10 minutes to one to go on right. Make sure the 45 degree clip is pointed in the right direction, that was my problem.

Towards the back but The angle has to be right to clip in. the flat white part of the clip(the base of the clip ) on the panel needs to be in properly. They twist and sometimes pull out when removed. See the pic how the top clips angled up, needs to twist down a bit. Use the flat base of the clip for reference.
