thinking of getting a pistol

    So I am seriously considering getting a new pistol. Ive been looking at the glock 22. I like the idea of having the accessory rail.
    I need a fullsize gun cause my hands do not fit on the compact ones very well.
    Any thoughts/input on this would be great!

    I just went through this the other day. I enjoy the glocks my brother has one they are fun and easy. However I went shoot a few different guns and I really enjoyed the fit of the Springfield. It is basically the same as the Glock in every way except that I prefer the feel of this gun in my hand. It also has the Rails.

    definately go shoot

    i have a G22, G27 and had a Springfield XD-40

    I personally prefer the glock's fit but a lot of folks like the xd better

    the g22 is def a great firearm tho

    I had really never even considered the Springfield but when I went shoot with my buddy he had the xd40 and I loved it, I found it to suit me a little better than the Glock I was fixing to purchase. very important to try out the guns you are interested in buying. Enjoy the hunt for the perfect gun.

    The new Berrettas look ok but I don't like the way the hammer section is made. However I do love the look of the older models. For concealed carry I didn't want the hammer to catch on my clothing.

    A few additions to make me feel cool.
    The Beretta is not the best gun anyway, the locking block always breaks and in older modals if you push in on that little extension of the barrel the hammer won't fall. Go with the Springfield and get a 40.

    i carry everywhere i go...i own a G22, G27, and Walther P22...i sold the springfield XD40 to purchase the G27...

    i liked the xd...but didnt love it...i LOVE the glocks...plus its a WHOLE lot easier to conceal a G27

    i prefer open carry and my G22 + bianchi carrylok holster...however...open is not always a good idea

    heres a video of me drawing the G22...keep in mind my shirt is tucked around it...typically i'd have my shirt fully tucked in for this carry combo

    i have one and i like shooting it...and i like carrying it because it doesnt weight anything...BUT...i've had a couple of FTF and jams and i refuse to trust it with my life
