20171130_164729.jpg Even though my Tacoma is not in th pic it was a fantastic sunset over the Modoc Wildlife Refuge(northeastern tip of California). Just finished a little duck hunting. Of course my Tacoma took me there.

Opening day’s take with the club in northeastern PA. About 400lb worth. Sadly none were mine but did transport them to the butcher.

No picture of him in my truck, but I nabbed this on Saturday in Southern IL.

Here he is the day before 1st season (11/16)

And here he is 3rd day of 2nd season (12/2)

Congrats! What species is that? Game farm? You must have to be fast in that heat. Do you butcher on site?

Yea it’s an axis buck... no game farm, just a low fence ranch that I hunt. Been patterning him all summer on cameras and finally got lucky!

Just hung him off the back of the truck and got to work...

I forgot to post mine this past season...

I had to drag him a mile to get him to the truck. No wheeled access of any kind allowed on that particular piece of public land.

Good times. I use to strap deer to the hood of a corolla. I would tie the legs to the mirrors.
