We saw a few intact tank gun shells near Iron Mountain/Cadiz area from Patton’s Desert training area, also some flattened practice bombs.

You are getting pretty good with that Nox, hows it working out for you? Curious how hard it is to use and how the numbers work...

My next detector will likely be the Nox. I wish I had gotten it first. My Vanquish 540 works pretty well, but the Nox is obviously better.

Well, you can let a buddy use it if you have someone to go detecting together. Or perhaps keep using it and eventually get a better used PI detector in the future.

im learning the park mode really good, and surprised by what it picks up on standard setting. The other modes i havent used much yet because i havent gotten a good area to test them. The gold one is picking up stuff but dunno if its hot rocks or if im missing stuff. Since the pinpointer doesnt beep on it. The pinpointer is very helpful.

Not sure exactly how the numbers are working but nickels and dimes are lower than 20, but pennies are 20-22quarters are higher and give good sound. Junk or foil usually gives a diferent sound. Have found lots of bottle caps, pop etc. I want to hit a couple beach areas see how the equinox works

Well that made my evening, because I was mulling over something completely different and looked at this website for a distraction. I guess I’ll have to start detecting in my own yard since all 40 million of us are now on stay at home orders here in California...

I am sure glad I got out last weekend, still getting the mud out from under my truck - maybe I should pan it also! :p

I will probably find the same in my backyard. :p Hey, start putting some of that Arizona dirt in buckets in selling it to us home bound Californians online!
