I just placed an order for some SCS 16” Ray10s in gunmetal. Probably not my smartest financial decision, but damn it, I’ve been wanting & saving for them for a long time. I’ve been good about putting money aside for hard times & I didn’t touch the “rainy day fund” to purchase them. So now, I just hope they get here.

One of the better things to do right now is keep the economy churning. The impact of shutting down the economy may lead to more hardship and death than the virus itself. If it’s all over, the money will be meaningless anyways, but the wheels will still be cool.

The taco and I will be social distancing ourselves for a while. I’ll be Playing COD and eating hot pockets for the next 3 months or whenever we get the ALL clear from this virus.

Good news for the brave folk at the hot pocket factory. Let’s hope they don’t follow your lead.

A lot of manufactured items, like hot pockets, are what are in jeopardy most of all, as things unfold. Hopefully people can find ways to stay working.

Exactly. If you have the luck to have some money saved, it’s not insane to spend some of it. It is part of a personal “stimulus package” we can all participate in within reasonable means. Every time you buy an item, you provide a chance for someone to keep their job. It is highly unlikely this virus is going to wipe out more than a small percentage of the population, but the economic impacts for everyone can be deep and pervasive.

I will not be shaming anyone here who does some prudent spending and has some nice upgrades to show for it. It’s actually the opposite of being obnoxious in this time of crisis.

I may have picked the least optimal time to do major work on the truck.

Nice! You will not be disappointed. I am very happy to finally get some wheels and I really wanted a little bit wider than OEM so I’m glad I went this route. I’ll take some better pics this weekend and post them on them. Post some pics when you get them on!

Your wheels look good...noticibly bigger than the 16s.

Thanks man. I did it primarily because I wanted C-rated BFG KO2s and a wider wheel than OEM, but I agree they definitely look much bigger and I really love them!

I’m a fan of spending. But I’ll not be spending on the truck (save for tires, which I already planned anyway)

No big spending until we see how things look like on the other side of the cerveza. There's absolutely no guarantee that we'll "come out stronger" (tired to hear that). We might come out crippled.

If there's a recession, or depression, having a few extra dollars will come in handy. I have no problems waiting a few months.

I'm wondering if the computer 0's and 1's (AKA stimulus/QE dollars) would be able to fix low demand, should it fall.
