Cousin is in NV and as of midnight all "non-essential businesses are shut down" and they're on house lock, can only leave for pharmacy and food apparently.

 

Damn! Shit's getting real.

 

California just went on lockdown. Is it inevitable here? Just a matter of time?

 

I feel like the answer is yes, atleast for Utah county and surrounding areas.

I had a reservation at one of the Zion campgrounds for tonight (ended up not going) but just got an email that the campsite in the park is closed.

 

With everyone stuck at home, you all can get started on that mile long honey do list..

I actually wanted to get more progress done on my basement remodel. I am having an issue passing my Plumbing rough before I can call for the final framing inspection. All I want to do is start stuffing rock wool insulation into the walls..

Long story short, I had some licensed plumbers add drains for a toilet/ shower/ vanity/ washer drain in the basement. I did all the concrete cutting work, they literally just installed some drains. I called for an inspection last October and it got signed off. It was a partial inspection, so I could re-pour my concrete.

So fast forward to this week. I call for a final plumbing rough in, and the inspector wont pass on work that was approved back in October.. (Different inspector). I guess the Vanity and Washing machine drain can't share the same vent.

So now, I am trying to contact this plumbing company, and have them talk to the inspector for work that was completed in October etc.... Meanwhile we have had Corona-Virus, and earth quakes. Hopefully I won't have to take this to small claims for non-code approved work.

 

Aren't we being encouraged to go outdoors and visit the parks? I feel the need to get out.

 

Does seem backwards dont it? Zion is promoting park tourism, but Moab is rejecting all visitors, and 3 counties are banning even primitive camping.
